Road Freight

Overland Logistics Limited provides road freight services for both perishable and general cargo, by means of our custom fleet. This service covers full, partial and consolidation loads. Our fleet of trucks is also managed from our central operations centre in Nairobi, Kenya, which is why we excel at all manner of transportation services to and from the countries forming the East African Community.

Road Freight Handling

To achieve our superior service, our entire fleet is fitted with GPS satellite tracking and satellite phones. These are all linked to our Operations Room in Nairobi. In this way, the location of each vehicle is tracked in real time by our tracking department, which also works on a 24/7 basis.

Dangerous Goods Management

Our service emphasis is further supported by satellite phones in each of the trucks, enabling 24 hour communication with the Operations Centre by the drivers, to alert the Operations Centre of any unforeseen circumstances so that we can act proactively in case the need arises.

Dry Bulk and Liquid Transportation

Overland Logistics Limited also owns and operates a dedicated fleet of refrigerated reefer trucks, specifically designed for a range of produce, food and soft cargo. As with the rest of the fleet these reefer trucks are internationally tracked 24 hours a day and equipped with satellite phones to enable uninterrupted contact with the vehicles while en route to their destinations. This enables immediate communication in case of unexpected events en-route.
